Sweet Rye Pumpernickel 700g

Our German style Pumpernickel is traditionally prepared and baked to produce a bread with a dark colour, dense texture and authentic, tangy taste.  It is naturally high in dietary fibre and low in fats and sugar making it a filling and healthy lunch option.

A 'must have' addition to your tray of hors d'oeuvres, whether you are vegan, vegetarian or omnivorous. It is the traditional bread to use for Scandinavian-style open sandwiches and makes a filling meal with a bowl of soup. 

INGREDIENTS

Organic Rye, Treacle Syrup, Salt, Yeast, Water

Contains gluten. 
May contain soy, sesame.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

Pumpernickel is best kept in a cool dark place to allow it to develop it's outer crust and ripen the flavour of the moist inner crumb.  This bread can be frozen, but we suggest slicing first and storing in a freezer grade bag.
