How we bake to order

Long and Slow

Our bread is made using traditional methods, which takes time.

We start preparing doughs at midday, ready for them to be made into breads overnight.

This means that we need to know what we are baking the morning before the day it is to be sent. 

So if you order from us on Monday afternoon, we will include your order in the doughs being prepared on Tuesday afternoon. It wil be baked on Tuesday night and sent out to you on Wednesday.   

This can create some delays in sending orders out as we like to get breads away early in the week and don't send to the North Island after Wednesday to avoid it getting caught up over the weekend with any transport dealys.

If you have an urgent order please mention this when ordering on line or email/call us so we can confirm delivery schedule.Otherwise we will send out as soon as possible whilst avoiding potential weekend delays.
