High Fibre

We've been hearing for years that high fibre is good.
The Heart Foundation recommends about 30g of fibre for adults each day. We've worked out that if you have a couple of slices of Four Seed toast with peanut butter for breakfast, eat a piece of fruit and take another with you for morning tea, you will have had about 15g of fibre and that's half your daily amount - job done!

As we've said before, we are Bakers, not Scientists but here is some clear information that we found at the Victorian Goverment website;

Our Pumpernickel, Four Seed, Mountain Rye and Rye Sourdough breads all have more than 4g per serving - that's a decent slice - and the Mountain Rye and Rye Sourdough have a wopping 5.4g - thats 13.5g per 100g. WOW!
