High Fibre
We've been hearing for years that high fibre is good.The Heart Foundation recommends about 30g of fibre for adults each day. We've worked out that if you have a couple of slices of Four Seed toast with peanut butter for breakfast, eat a piece of fruit and take another with you for morning tea, you wil lhave had about 15g of fibre and that's half your daily amount - done!
As we've said before, we are Bakers, not Scientists but here is some clear infromation that we found at the Victorian Goverment website;

Our Pumpernickel, Four Seed, Mountain Rye and Rye Sourdough breads all have more than 4g per serving - that's a decent slice - and the Mountain Rye and Rye Sourdough have a wopping 5.4g - thats 13.5g per 100g. WOW!
